Aleksandra Osowska-Kurczab

Aleksandra Osowska-Kurczab is a Machine Learning Manager at Allegro. She leads the recommender systems research team, working on personalization in large-scale retrieval and ranking. Her team focuses on bringing cutting-edge ML models into production, tailoring them to Allegro’s unique needs. She holds a PhD in computer science and remains active in academia. Her research interests include areas of representation learning and robustness in medical image analysis. Outside of work, Aleksandra is a proud geek, passionate tennis player, and a dedicated dog owner. Her basset hound, Rysio, keeps her life both entertaining and unpredictable.
