Don Hughes

Dr Don Hughes studied physics to PhD level and is now Vice President and General Counsel EMEA and M&A for Hitachi Digital, responsible for M&A globally and managing the company’s team of lawyers in Europe. Hitachi Digital is the cloud infrastructure, digital engineering services and AI subsidiary of Hitachi Limited, the Tokyo based conglomerate with annual revenues of approximately $70 billion. Prior to Hitachi, Don was Deputy Head of Legal at Cable & Wireless which he joined from Clifford Chance.
