Kathrin Spendier

She is the Technical Prize Director for the Google Quantum Applications Prize at XPRIZE, where she focuses on building the competitor community and advancing quantum solutions. Prior to this, she was the Quantum Computing Technology Evangelist at Quantinuum, fostering partnerships and providing training on quantum technologies. Dr. Spendier also served as an Associate Professor of Physics at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS), leading research in biophysics and earning recognition for her sponsored research. She holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of New Mexico, along with M.S. and B.S. degrees in Physics and Applied Mathematics.
