Kasturi Chatterjee

Kasturi Chatterjee is a Senior Manager of Data Platform at Netflix. Her teams own and operates the Data Movement Platform, comprising foundational engines such as Kafka, Flink, and Mantis, and Abstractions complete with a rich connector ecosystem to enable businesses to make critical data-driven decisions. Kasturi has a Ph.D in Database Internals and loves building products and Infrastructures ground up. She is passionate about growing engineers and leaders in her organization. Transparency and authenticity are non-negotiable dimensions for Kasturi to operate optimally, and she feels fortunate to experience these principles within Netflix's unique culture every day. Kasturi loves reading - words soothe her.  She is a mom of a wonderfully witty 10-year-old girl, a 12-year-old crazy dog, and a three-year-old kitten who amusingly believes she’s a puppy.
