Denise Ruffner

With a background in neurobiology and molecular biology, this speaker brings both scientific insight and industry experience to the quantum computing space. She has held leadership roles at IBM, IonQ, and Cambridge Quantum, focusing on business development and strategic partnerships. At IBM, she led the global Quantum Ambassador program and launched the IBM Q Startup initiative. Her work has consistently bridged the gap between technical innovation and real-world application. As a supporter of diversity in science, she also helped grow Women in Quantum, a global community highlighting the contributions of women in the field. Most recently, she served as Chief Business Officer at Atom Computing, helping to expand its presence within the quantum ecosystem.
