Krzysztof Kurowski

Dr. Krzysztof Kurowski is the Technical Director at the Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center (PSNC), affiliated with the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Poznań University of Technology. Since 2008, he has led PSNC's Applications Department and has been instrumental in numerous national and international R&D projects in ICT. His research focuses on advanced simulations, scheduling, and resource management in distributed computing environments. Dr. Kurowski has also contributed to power-efficient IT systems, advanced visualization, and digital education technologies. He has been a visiting researcher at institutions like the University of Queensland and Argonne National Laboratory. Actively involved in the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) initiatives, he participates in task forces on FAIR data, interoperability, and financial sustainability.
