Dariusz Aksamit

He works at the Faculty of Physics, Warsaw University of Technology, specializing in medical physics, ionizing radiation in medicine, radiation measurements, and radiological protection. He collaborates with the National Oncology Center and the Institute of Nuclear Chemistry and Technology. He has supervised 20 theses and completed research training at the Paul Scherrer Institute in Switzerland and a business course at Ivey Business School in Canada. Formerly with the Central Laboratory for Radiological Protection and Copernicus Science Centre, he now teaches physics at Akademeia High School. He co-founded Science Advocates Association and the March for Science Foundation, and has received the “Science Popularizer 2018” award. He has produced science videos, coordinated the Science & Media Congress, led Erasmus+ projects, and hosted a science radio show. His mission: bringing science closer to society.
