Sandra Barut

Sandra holds a degree in Power Process Engineering from Krakow Technology University and International Relations from Krakow University of Economics. Her academic background seamlessly integrates energy studies as a strategic sector in global development. She continued her education in Scandinavia, participating in the Nordic 5 Tech Program in Norway and Denmark. 

Sandra began her career at Neas Energy, a Danish energy trading company. Subsequently, she joined ABB and later became a Senior Energy Market Analyst in the Grid Automation Business Unit at Hitachi Energy in Poland. In this role, she analyzed the future evolution of energy markets and forecasted long-term commodity price developments in Europe. 

In 2024, Sandra presented a TechTalk at the Women in Tech Summit, highlighting the importance of the commitment of tech companies to driving energy transformation and promoting diversity and inclusion within the industry. Recently, Sandra moved into the IT field and became the Product Owner for a Market Communications application, supporting global energy trading solutions across various markets.
