Maciej Machała

My name is Maciek, I’m leading a team responsible for marketing sites in tastytrade.

I solve problems using technology. Sometimes without it. I used to do it as a front-end developer, and now as an engineering manager.

I was always interested in the space between people and technology. That was the driving force behind my career decisions. It first led me to study sociology and human-computer interaction. The main point of focus throughout my career was marketing, in the context of technology. I have experienced all kinds of working environments. I’ve worked both as a freelancer and in a couple of marketing agencies of increasing size. I joined IG many years ago and since then I have been leading various teams mainly focusing on marketing sites. And that’s just the serious jobs.

I cycle, ski and sail. Love a good book. I’m a struggling but proud father to a 9-year-old daughter. I prefer dogs over cats.
