Emilia Burdak

I am a Software Engineer at Amazon Alexa, where I drive the development of advanced analytics tools and metrics systems for the entire Alexa organization within the B-Tel team. My journey at Amazon began in the Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) team, where I successfully prototyped structured output generation systems for Large Language Models (LLMs). My unique path to software engineering started in nanotechnology, where I discovered my passion for programming. Before joining Amazon, I honed my software engineering skills at Switzerland's prestigious Paul Scherrer Institut, developing sophisticated solutions for lithography processes, and gained additional expertise through work experience in Italy. This diverse background enables me to approach technical challenges with a blend of scientific rigor and creative problem-solving skills.
