Marta Krywanis

Marta Krywanis is a Senior Research Officer at Frontex, where she plays a key role in integrating space-based solutions into border management, leveraging EU programmes such as Copernicus, Galileo, and Govsatcom.

Prior to joining Frontex, Marta served as the Head of the R&D Section at the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA), driving research and development initiatives that promoted the adoption and uptake of European Global Navigation Satellite Systems (EGNSS) in the market.

Her professional background also includes a research position at the Space Research Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences. In addition to her experience in public institutions, Marta spent two years working for an international aeronautical company, a spin-off of Airbus, further broadening her expertise.

Marta holds a Master's Degree in Geodesy and Satellite Navigation from the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Poland. She also possesses a post-graduate diploma in Management of Innovation from the Warsaw School of Economics in Poland, underscoring her commitment to staying at the forefront of technological advancements and innovation.
