Ana Paula Carbone

I’m a Senior Software Engineer at Netflix and, as a full-stack developer within the Enablement Apps organization, I contribute to building applications to enable seamless integration with our partners. I was born and raised in Brazil where I got my degree in Information Systems from Universidade de São Paulo (USP).

I’ve been working with software engineering for the past 8 years and I am continually amazed by how I still learn something new every day. For the past four years, I have been actively involved in volunteering at a Brazilian NGO, where I support mentorship programs and events aimed at empowering women and increasing their participation in the IT sector.

I strongly resonate with Netflix's cultural values, particularly the emphasis on having The Dream Team and prioritizing people over processes. I truly believe in fostering collaborative high-performing teams and value the empowerment of individuals to make informed decisions.

Outside of my professional work, I am passionate about activities that broaden my perspective and fuel my creativity, such as traveling, reading, and painting.
