Kamil Janowicz

Kamil Janowicz, Ph.D. - he is a psychologist and post-doctoral researcher at SWPS University. He has a rich experience in research on various aspects of parenthood (especially fatherhood), future-thinking, and factors influencing emerging adults' identity development. He collaborates with scholars across the globe, including, e.g., Australia, Italy, Japan, Portugal, Sweden, and the U.S. He is a member of the Council of the Share the Care Foundation.

For about ten years, he has been supporting men at various stages of their lives. He focuses especially on fathers, which has resulted in conducting many workshops and webinars, as well as facilitating support groups for fathers. He is also the author of many psychoeducational materials on fatherhood. As he deeply believes in the sense of open science and sharing scientific knowledge with a wide audience, he has his popular science blog, Father_ing, focused on describing what research says about the role of fathers in child development, as well as the challenges and needs of contemporary fathers.
