Raquel Cabero Quiles

Raquel Cabero Quiles is the Academic Director of the Master in Business Analytics and Data Science at the IE School of Science and Technology. She also leads the Management & Xponential Technology program, a collaboration between the School of Science and Technology and the Business School. Raquel is a professor of Data Visualization and an active member of the Data Visualization Society, where she oversees international initiatives. In addition, she leads Women in STEM initiatives for the SciTech master’s programs, promoting gender equity and empowering future female leaders in technology and data.

Throughout her career in the United States and Spain, Raquel has held strategic and leadership roles, primarily as Sales Manager, Senior Manager of Admissions and Analytics, and Data Specialist, leading and implementing data analysis and visualization projects for commercial teams. She is currently pursuing a PhD, with her research focused on artificial intelligence solutions to enhance data communication and data science education, as well as to counteract disinformation.
