Joanna Kurowska-Pysz

Joanna Kurowska-Pysz holds a postdoctoral degree in management and quality science. Since 2013, she has been affiliated with WSB University in Dąbrowa Górnicza, where she serves as an associate professor. She also holds the positions of, among others, head of the Department of Management, Director of the Technology Transfer Centre and Deputy Head of the Doctoral School. For many years, she combined academic activity with expert work in project management. Since 2018, she has been developing R&D projects at the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Since 2019, she has also been collaborating with DG REGIO of the European Commission. She is a member of the supervisory boards of GPW Logistics SA and ENEA Nowa Energia SA. She is the author of nearly 200 scientific publications and expert studies, as well as a participant in many projects co-financed by, among others, Horizon Europe, Erasmus Plus, INTERREG and POIR programs. She constantly invests in personal development, as evidenced by the trainings she has completed at prestigious centres such as Harvard Business School, Harvard’s BOK Center, GPM Global, and the American Management Association.
