Angélica Partida

Dr. Angélica Partida Hanon is a data scientist in Corporate and Investment Banking of an International Financial Institution and adjunct professor at IE University, with a career based on engineering, biology, and data science.

She began her academic journey as the youngest known engineering student worldwide. She holds a PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biomedicine and is currently completing a second PhD in Data Science. Her academic work includes several peer-reviewed research papers published in top-tier scientific journals, with expertise in fields ranging from molecular biology to artificial intelligence and econometrics.

At Banco Santander, Dr. Partida Hanon led the development of the group's data-driven COVID 19 strategy and she is also part of the board of the Universia Foundation and founded the Santander Enable Network.
