Zuzanna Świrad is a geomorphologist interested in nearshore, coastal and slope processes. She is particularly interested in rock coasts. She did her MSc at the University of Wrocław, Poland, PhD at Durham University, UK and postdoc at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, University of California San Diego, USA. In her research she uses a range of methods such as field experiments, data analysis, numerical modelling and cosmogenic dating. Zuzanna is a co-author of 25 scientific papers and a PI of National Science Centre SONATINA and SONATA grants. In 2024 she received the Minister of Science and Higher Education scholarship for outstanding young scientists and the L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science scholarship.
