Dr. Eng. Natalia Schmidt-Polończyk is a Scientist at AGH University of Science and Technology, listed among ForbesWomen’s 100 Women of the Year 2023, TEDx speaker, and science communicator. As an academic tutor and interpersonal skills trainer, she supports others in their personal development. She is also active as a mentor for women. Awarded the title Innovator in Science and New Technologies as part of the 16 Equality Leaders competition organized by the Congress of Women Association. Recipient of the Passionate Educator award at AGH and the Tutoring Inspiration of the Year title. Host of the podcasts Bunkier Nauki and Kobiecy Kwadrans Naukowy. President of the Odważne w Nauce Foundation, whose flagship project is Women Scientists at School. Initiator of the #OdwazneWNauce campaign. On Instagram, she runs the science and personal growth account @doktorka_tutorka. Author of the first research in Poland on the evacuation of people from real road tunnels under fire conditions.
