Beata Rurarz

Beata Paulina Rurarz, PhD - dynamic SHEngineer and Assistant Professor at Lodz University of Technology (TUL). Her work passionately bridges chemistry, medicine, and nanotechnology. She holds a PhD in Chemistry (TUL in collaboration with the Medical University of Lodz), where her research focused on cutting-edge radiation-based cancer nanotheranostics. Dr. Rurarz also earned an MSc in Nanotechnology through a double degree programme with the University of Twente and TUL. Her current research involves developing innovative nanocarriers for the precise delivery of drugs and radioisotopes. A recipient of multiple scientific awards and author of numerous publications, Beata is a fierce advocate for women in STEM and leadership. She actively inspires the next generation as a mentor for the "Women in Science!" ("Dziewczyny na Nauki!") campaign.
