Joanna Potęga

Joanna Potęga is a librarian and open knowledge advocate based in Warsaw. She directs the Main Library at the Maria Grzegorzewska University and serves as Secretary General of the Polish Librarians’ Association. Joanna is an active member of the Wikimedia community, where she promotes initiatives like #1Lib1Ref, encouraging librarians to improve Wikipedia with quality sources. She regularly leads trainings and speaks at events on the role of libraries in digital literacy. Passionate about digital transformation in cultural institutions - especially in libraries, she collaborates on projects combining technology and education. She is committed to empowering women in knowledge-sharing communities.
